Key Responsibilities
- Act as an essential member of our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) team, closely partnering with clinical staff to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Manage patient enrollment and engagement throughout the RPM program, facilitating smooth transitions and compliance.
- Initiate outreach to patients for program onboarding and offer education and coordination with care teams.
- Maintain accurate patient rosters and monitor data collection to meet RPM standards.
- Conduct patient intakes by recording vitals, medical history, and concerns, thereby providing comprehensive support.
- Track patient dashboards and ensure timely outreach for ongoing care and urgent patient needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare partners to address patient requirements, including care coordination with specialized teams.
- Keep patient records current and confidential, ensuring they are complete and accessible for appointments.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment options and program specifics.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills while managing remote patient care across multiple practices, potentially in various states.
- Follow established protocols to adequately respond to urgent or emergent situations.
- Perform clerical responsibilities such as answering calls, filing, and faxing as required.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, working collaboratively to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with additional tasks as necessary to enhance team support and patient care.
Required Skills
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (AAMA or NCCT) required within one year of employment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and applications, particularly electronic health records (EHR) like Athena, along with familiarity in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Understanding of medical terminology, medication protocols, and basic coding (CPT, ICD-10).
- Strong interpersonal abilities with the capability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain organization in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to patient privacy and adherence to safety, attendance, and professional appearance standards.
- Effectiveness in a remote setting with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 3 months experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits
- Full-time status with a salary range of $18-21 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Remote work option available from Orlando, FL.
- Monday to Friday schedule.
